Your Christmas Or Mine?

Exciting news that we can finally announce that Daniel Mays has spent his late-summer filming‘Your Christmas Or Mine?’ for Amazon Studios. We have to wait until December 2022 for this heart-warming Christmas film but it will be worth it!

Amazon Prime Video has announced the British film Your Christmas or Mine? will premiere on Prime Video in over 240 territories worldwide in December 2022.

The holiday film is made for Amazon Prime Video by Shiny Button, follows young couple James (Asa Butterfield, Sex Education) and Hayley (Newcomer, Cora Kirk), who, after a disastrous mix-up, end up having to experience each other’s family Christmas without their partners. The movie is directed by Jim O’Hanlon (Catastrophe, Trying) and executive produced by Kris Thykier (Kick-Ass, Tolkien) and Andy Brereton (Murder in Successville). Your Christmas or Mine, written by Tom Parry (The Job Lot), features a stellar line up of British talent, including Alex Jennings (The Crown), Harriet Walter (Killing Eve), Daniel Mays (Fisherman’s Friends), David Bradley (the Harry Potter series), Angela Griffin (White Lines), Natalie Gumede (Titans), Lucien Laviscount (Snatch) and Ram John Holder (Desmond’s).

“It’s a testimony to the warmth, humour, and emotional honesty of Tom Parry’s brilliant script for Your Christmas or Mine? that we’ve managed to attract such an amazing cast and crew to the project,” said O’Hanlon. “I can’t tell you how excited I am to be directing it—even if it means spending my summer mired in snow and black ice rather than on the beach.”

“From the moment we heard the idea for Your Christmas or Mine? we knew it was something very special that we had to bring to the screens of our customers, and we were excited to work with Shiny Button on this wonderful British Comedy for audiences across the world,” added Martin Backlund, head of content, UK, Ireland and Nordics at Prime Video. “We’re looking forward to Your Christmas or Mine? taking its place amongst the classic Christmas films our customers love, and we hope to follow it up with an increasing number of exclusive British films made for Amazon Prime Video over the coming years.”

We will be sure to post updates on Your Christmas or Mine? as we get them. In the meantime, start planning your Christmas jumper for this 2022 release!

With an impending divorce, the return of his long-time absentee dad, and danger around every corner, the pressure seems to be getting to Major and he starts exhibiting strange behavioural glitches.
