Ahead of this evening’s BAFTA Preview of Line Of Duty, BBC Two has released the first teaser trailer for series three. Look for series 3 to transmit in March 2016.
This series introduces Daniel Mays as Sergeant Danny Waldron, the highly proficient leader of an Armed Response Unit whose unpredictable behaviour is becoming a threat to colleagues and suspects. When AC-12 are called in to investigate Danny’s conduct, even they could find themselves in the firing line.
Mays joins the returning cast Martin Compston as Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott, Vicky McClure as Detective Constable Kate Fleming and Adrian Dunbar as Superintendent Ted Hastings.
The series is written and executive produced by Jed Mercurio, with Simon Heath as Executive Producer for World Productions and Stephen Wright, Head of Drama BBC Northern Ireland, as Executive Producer for the BBC.
BBC Two has added the teaser trailer to the Line of Duty series site.
